52|2012 Week 6 - Quiet

You may not necessarily think quiet when you see a 14 year old playing the guitar but surprisingly it is. He likes to play when the house is quiet and he can play without plugging in. He is a quiet soul, as well, especially at this time of day. After school when homework is done and piano is practiced. It's not at all what I imagined having a teenaged boy in the would be like. Brett is not social, he'd much rather stay home than hang out with friends (I'm afraid when 2 introverted extroverts breed you get an ULTRA introverted extrovert) We love our sweet quiet boy.

You breeding extroverts theory totally makes me laugh! It's funny to think you you having such an introverted boy. Enjoy it! I adore this picture. Total solicitude. sigh. Lovely.

I would sooooo love to be in a quiet home with the sound of a guitar in the background. What a wonderful place for you! And I love that he plays. So great to see kids being musical. I played the piano when I needed some introvert time. Now I long for a piano in my house. (sigh)

I know exactly what you speak of this quiet when playing the guitar. I grew-up with that - my brother plays guitar. I love your interpretation! And I love your comment about breeding! HA! I always thought it was like two negatives = a positive. ;) Two introverts would create an extrovert.

I REALLY like the angle on this!

That's interesting - I consider Andrew and I introverts, yet our kids are extroverts - they are always wanting to go do something or go somewhere!

How wonderfu, I always wished I had a child that played something well, but none of them were interested enough.
sigh
Enjoy, he looks like a very nice young man.
